{"id":3245,"date":"2025-10-16T14:05:05","date_gmt":"2025-10-16T18:05:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/elglobal.do\/?p=3245"},"modified":"2025-10-16T14:05:09","modified_gmt":"2025-10-16T18:05:09","slug":"prm-se-desliga-de-exfuncionarios-investigados-por-narcotrafico-en-ee-uu","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/elglobal.do\/index.php\/2025\/10\/16\/prm-se-desliga-de-exfuncionarios-investigados-por-narcotrafico-en-ee-uu\/","title":{"rendered":"PRM se desliga de exfuncionarios investigados por narcotr\u00e1fico en EE.UU"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"684\" src=\"https:\/\/elglobal.do\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/image-91-1024x684.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3246\" style=\"width:711px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/elglobal.do\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/image-91-1024x684.png 1024w, https:\/\/elglobal.do\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/image-91-300x200.png 300w, https:\/\/elglobal.do\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/image-91-768x513.png 768w, https:\/\/elglobal.do\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/image-91-1536x1025.png 1536w, https:\/\/elglobal.do\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/image-91.png 2000w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Santo Domingo.-<\/strong> El\u00a0<strong>Partido Revolucionario Moderno<\/strong>\u00a0(<strong>PRM<\/strong>) reafirm\u00f3  su \u00abposici\u00f3n firme, categ\u00f3rica e inquebrantable\u00bb frente a toda manifestaci\u00f3n vinculada al\u00a0<strong>narcotr\u00e1fico<\/strong>, luego de que se conociera que dos exfuncionarios de su Gobierno est\u00e1n siendo investigados por las autoridades de Estados Unidos por presunto tr\u00e1fico de drogas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En un&nbsp;<strong>comunicado oficial<\/strong>, la Direcci\u00f3n Ejecutiva del&nbsp;<strong>PRM<\/strong>&nbsp;asegur\u00f3 que la organizaci\u00f3n \u00abha sido, es y seguir\u00e1 siendo implacable en la defensa de la&nbsp;<strong>legalidad<\/strong>, la transparencia y la \u00e9tica p\u00fablica\u00bb, y que esos principios constituyen el n\u00facleo de su identidad institucional y el compromiso que sostiene con la naci\u00f3n dominicana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El partido oficialista expres\u00f3 su\u00a0<strong>respaldo<\/strong>\u00a0a la determinaci\u00f3n del\u00a0<strong>Gobierno<\/strong>\u00a0en la lucha contra el\u00a0<strong>narcotr\u00e1fico<\/strong>, orientada \u2014seg\u00fan indic\u00f3\u2014 a fortalecer las instituciones, consolidar el imperio de la\u00a0<strong>ley<\/strong>\u00a0y garantizar que toda persona responda por sus actos \u00absin excepciones ni privilegios\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00abNinguna&nbsp;<strong>conducta individual<\/strong>&nbsp;podr\u00e1 jam\u00e1s colocarse por encima de la&nbsp;<strong>ley<\/strong>&nbsp;ni comprometer el&nbsp;<strong>prestigio institucional<\/strong>&nbsp;del&nbsp;<strong>PRM<\/strong>\u00ab, enfatiz\u00f3 la organizaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00abNuestro partido no tolera, ni tolerar\u00e1, bajo ninguna circunstancia, acciones o comportamientos que vulneren los&nbsp;<strong>principios de integridad, justicia y respeto<\/strong>&nbsp;al orden jur\u00eddico que nos definen como una organizaci\u00f3n comprometida con la transparencia, la democracia y el bienestar del pueblo dominicano\u00bb, agreg\u00f3 el comunicado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Investigaci\u00f3n en Estados Unidos<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>La Administraci\u00f3n de Control de Drogas de Estados Unidos (<strong>DEA<\/strong>) y la Fiscal\u00eda del Distrito Sur de Florida investigan a los dominicanos&nbsp;<strong>Fabio Augusto Jorge Puras<\/strong>&nbsp;y&nbsp;<strong>Gaspar Antonio Polanco Virella<\/strong>&nbsp;por&nbsp;<strong>tr\u00e1fico il\u00edcito de drogas<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jorge Puras se desempe\u00f1\u00f3 hasta mayo de este a\u00f1o como asesor del Poder Ejecutivo para las zonas francas, cargo del que fue desvinculado mediante el&nbsp;<strong>decreto 273-25<\/strong>, de fecha 23 de mayo, luego de que las autoridades estadounidenses informaran a la Direcci\u00f3n Nacional de Control de Drogas (<strong>DNCD<\/strong>) sobre la investigaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La&nbsp;<strong>DNCD<\/strong>&nbsp;confirm\u00f3 que ha estado&nbsp;<strong>colaborando<\/strong>&nbsp;\u00abde manera activa desde hace varios meses\u00bb con la&nbsp;<strong>DEA<\/strong>&nbsp;en el proceso.
