{"id":4967,"date":"2025-12-31T13:51:29","date_gmt":"2025-12-31T17:51:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/elglobal.do\/?p=4967"},"modified":"2025-12-31T13:51:31","modified_gmt":"2025-12-31T17:51:31","slug":"restablecen-suministro-de-agua-potable-en-santiago-y-espaillat","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/elglobal.do\/index.php\/2025\/12\/31\/restablecen-suministro-de-agua-potable-en-santiago-y-espaillat\/","title":{"rendered":"Restablecen suministro de agua potable en Santiago y Espaillat\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"375\" height=\"240\" src=\"https:\/\/elglobal.do\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/image-171.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4968\" srcset=\"https:\/\/elglobal.do\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/image-171.png 375w, https:\/\/elglobal.do\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/image-171-300x192.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 375px) 100vw, 375px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Santiago.-<\/strong>La Corporaci\u00f3n del Acueducto y Alcantarillado de\u00a0<strong>Santiago<\/strong>\u00a0(<strong>Coraasan<\/strong>) restableci\u00f3 cerca de la medianoche de ayer martes el\u00a0<strong>servicio de agua<\/strong> potable en\u00a0<strong>Santiago<\/strong>\u00a0y parte de la provincia\u00a0<strong>Espaillat<\/strong>, tras permanecer interrumpido durante cinco d\u00edas a causa de la explosi\u00f3n de un tramo de la l\u00ednea de aducci\u00f3n de 60 pulgadas del Acueducto Cibao Central en el municipio Sabana Iglesia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La aver\u00eda, ocurrida el jueves 25 de diciembre, provoc\u00f3 la&nbsp;<strong>destrucci\u00f3n de cuatro viviendas<\/strong>&nbsp;y un tramo de la carretera que comunica Sabana Iglesia con el municipio Baitoa, adem\u00e1s de afectar el suministro de agua a unas 800 mil personas que se abastecen de ese sistema.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El director general de Coraasan, Andr\u00e9s<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Cueto, explic\u00f3 que el restablecimiento del servicio fue posible luego de cumplirse las 16 horas requeridas para el secado del hormig\u00f3n utilizado en la reparaci\u00f3n de la l\u00ednea, tras lo cual se realizaron las\u00a0<strong>pruebas t\u00e9cnicas<\/strong>\u00a0correspondientes y se inici\u00f3 el bombeo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Potabilizaci\u00f3n<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>El funcionario inform\u00f3 que el&nbsp;<strong>contraembalse de Bao<\/strong>&nbsp;y la&nbsp;<strong>toma de L\u00f3pez<\/strong>&nbsp;ya est\u00e1n captando el agua cruda, la cual es conducida hacia los acueductos Cibao Central y La Dura, en Moca, donde es sometida al proceso de potabilizaci\u00f3n antes de su distribuci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Indic\u00f3 que la&nbsp;<strong>l\u00ednea de captaci\u00f3n<\/strong>&nbsp;opera actualmente a toda capacidad, transportando&nbsp;<strong>cinco metros c\u00fabicos<\/strong>por segundo de agua cruda, equivalente a unos 115 millones de galones diarios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Asimismo, se\u00f1al\u00f3 que los residentes en los municipios&nbsp;<strong>Pu\u00f1al<\/strong>, Licey al Medio, Tamboril, gran parte de&nbsp;<strong>Santiago de los Caballeros<\/strong>&nbsp;y el sector La Dura, en Moca, comenzar\u00e1n a recibir el servicio con normalidad en las pr\u00f3ximas horas, de manera gradual.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Los afectados ser\u00e1n resarcidos<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>El funcionario&nbsp;<strong>valor\u00f3 la paciencia y comprensi\u00f3n<\/strong>&nbsp;de la poblaci\u00f3n ante la situaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cueto precis\u00f3 adem\u00e1s que el \u00e1rea afectada por la explosi\u00f3n de la&nbsp;<strong>tuber\u00eda<\/strong>est\u00e1 siendo reacondicionada en coordinaci\u00f3n con el&nbsp;<strong>Ministerio de Obras P\u00fablicas<\/strong>&nbsp;y Comunicaciones (MOPC), a fin de restablecer la viabilidad de la carretera.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Las autoridades informaron que los propietarios de las viviendas destruidas\u00a0<strong>ser\u00e1n resarcidos por los da\u00f1os ocasionados.<\/strong><br><br><br><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Santiago.-La Corporaci\u00f3n del Acueducto y Alcantarillado de\u00a0Santiago\u00a0(Coraasan) restableci\u00f3 cerca de la medianoche de ayer martes el\u00a0servicio de agua potable en\u00a0Santiago\u00a0y parte de la provincia\u00a0Espaillat, tras permanecer interrumpido durante cinco d\u00edas&hellip; <\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":4968,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[40],"tags":[1949,2754,2755,2756,986],"class_list":["post-4967","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-nacionales","tag-aguapotable","tag-averia","tag-espaillat","tag-restablecen","tag-santiago"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.9 -
