Rusia.-<\/strong> El presidente ruso, Vlad\u00edmir Putin<\/strong>, puso hoy precio a Groenlandia<\/strong>, isla \u00e1rtica que Estados Unidos quiere comprar pese a la oposici\u00f3n danesa: entre 200 y mil millones de d\u00f3lares.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00abLa superficie de Groenlandia<\/strong> es un poco mayor (que la de la pen\u00ednsula de Alaska que Rusia vendi\u00f3 a EE.UU. en el siglo XIX) (…) Eso quiere decir que si lo comparamos con el coste de la compra de Alaska por parte de EE.UU., el precio por Groenlandia<\/strong> ser\u00edan unos, en torno a los 200-250 millones de d\u00f3lares\u00bb, dijo durante una reuni\u00f3n del Consejo de Seguridad de Rusia, el segundo que convoca esta semana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00abSi comparamos con los precios de entonces del oro, esa cifra ser\u00eda mayor, seguramente cercana a los mil millones. Yo creo que Estados Unidos puede llegar a esa cifra\u00bb, a\u00f1adi\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Putin destac\u00f3 que Rusia tiene experiencia hist\u00f3rica al respecto con la venta de Alaska<\/strong>, que Washington<\/strong> compr\u00f3 en 1867 al zar Alejandro II por 7,2 millones de d\u00f3lares, a 4,73 d\u00f3lares el kil\u00f3metro cuadrado (unos 158 millones al cambio actual, seg\u00fan el presidente ruso).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adem\u00e1s, record\u00f3 que Dinamarca<\/strong> siempre trat\u00f3 a Groenlandia<\/strong> como una colonia y de manera \u00abbastante dura, por no decir cruel\u00bb, informa la agencia TASS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Con todo, asegur\u00f3 que ese asunto \u00abno nos incumbe\u00bb y expres\u00f3 su convencimiento de que Washington y Copenhague<\/strong> acabar\u00e1n por llegar a un acuerdo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El presidente de Estados Unidos, Donald Trump<\/strong>, adelant\u00f3 este mi\u00e9rcoles en Davos (Suiza) que Washington<\/strong> trabaja con la OTAN en un acuerdo sobre Groenlandia<\/strong> que \u00abes realmente fant\u00e1stico\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Posible anexi\u00f3n de Groenlandia<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Los altos funcionarios rusos<\/strong> se han abstenido de criticar la posible anexi\u00f3n de Groenlandia<\/strong> e incluso ha puesto en duda de que la isla sea parte de Dinamarca<\/strong>, con la esperanza de que Washington<\/strong> reconozca las conquistas territoriales rusas en Ucrania. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Putin asegur\u00f3 en su momento que los planes de la actual Administraci\u00f3n estadounidense de \u00abanexionarse\u00bb\u00a0Groenlandia<\/strong>\u00a0no son \u00abuna ocurrencia disparatada\u00bb del actual inquilino de la Casa Blanca, sino que tienen \u00abra\u00edces hist\u00f3ricas<\/strong>\u00ab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Record\u00f3 que Washington<\/strong> ya intent\u00f3 hacerse con la autonom\u00eda danesa<\/strong> y con Islandia en 1860, pero el Congreso no apoy\u00f3 la moci\u00f3n. El presidente estadounidense Harry Truman<\/strong> tambi\u00e9n ofreci\u00f3 100 millones en 1946.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Putin rememor\u00f3 que cuando EE.UU. compr\u00f3 Alaska, la prensa estadounidense<\/strong> tach\u00f3 la operaci\u00f3n de \u00ablocura\u00bb. \u00abPero la adquisici\u00f3n de Alaska es probablemente vista ahora en Estados Unidos de otra forma, al igual que las acciones del presidente Andrew Johnson<\/strong>\u00ab, apunt\u00f3. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
